How ZBL Works • Balls are injected behind an inlet W Filter through taps engineered to create an optimal disbursement pattern for full coverage of the tube sheet. • Balls circulate through the condenser tubes, where they mechanically remove fouling debris, and then are collected at the condenser outlet by the World’s only specially designed “Zero Loss” Ball Strainer. • The balls are then extracted by a specially engineered scoop and ball pump designed to prevent ball erosion or damage. • Finally, the sponge balls are sent through Beaudrey’s Ball Extraction System, where the balls are separated from the cooling water stream, counted, sorted and either re-injected to repeat the process or collected in preparation for system shut down. |
BENEFITS OF ZBL CTCS • Guarantees ZERO sponge cleaning balls are lost An EPA Best Technology Available leader! • Prevents and removes macro-fouling & scale build-up on condenser tubes • Prevents pre-mature corrosion of condenser surfaces • Optimizes heat transfer to maintain design steam side pressure • Lowers fuel consumption • Eliminates the need for regular shutdowns to perform costly manual cleanings • Reduces chlorination usage and expense • Extends condenser life • Pays for itself in UNDER ONE YEAR ! |
